Alison Biggs

Board President/Founder

Alison is the founder and creator of SNAPP. When Alison isn’t helping with the program she is practicing Marriage and Family Therapy. Alison is a native to Colorado from Littleton and a graduate from the University of Puget Sound where she earned a BA in International Studies and Marketing and then a Master’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado. She and her husband of over 20 years have a son who is attending Virginia Tech and a daughter whom is attending high school in Fort Collins. Raising children in today’s world isn’t an easy task. Creating this program was Alison’s way of doing something more that hopefully will touch many adolescent lives in a positive way.

Andrea Boncore-Campbell

Secretary

Andrea is from Buffalo, NY and graduated from Franklin Pierce University with an Education degree in K-8. She has taught Pre-School, Private Kindergarten, worked for a Head Start Program and was a Director and Assistant Director at Kindercare Learning Center for many years. She has a passion for children and their families and helping them become empowered in their own skin.  She’s married with 3 boys ages 15, 13, 10.  She loves the Fort Collins yoga community, rowing, music and hanging with her family, on those rare moments that we can all be found in the same vicinity!

Lea Ann Supe

Vice-President

Lea Ann is from Northville, Michigan. She graduated from Michigan State University with degrees in Purchasing and Operations Management. She has worked as a Program Manager for Hewlett-Packard, Agilent and Verigy and specializes in company spin-offs, acquisitions, divestitures and start ups. She is married and has 3 girls and loves to golf and travel.

Allison Leatherman, Treasurer

Allison graduated from the University of Texas with a BBA in Accounting, and has spent most of her professional career in financial audit and analysis roles, including positions with Ernst & Young, Southwest Airlines, and locally with Dye & Whitcomb, LLC. She has spent the last ten years working in the Fort Collins area performing consulting and attestation services to clients within the community. She is a Certified Public Accountant and has served on various boards of non-profits in the role of Treasurer.She spends her free time with her husband, Jeff, and their two children. She enjoys traveling, exercising, and all outdoor activities.

Teresa Girardi,
Director

Teresa earned her BS from Eastern Illinois University and her Masters Degree in Education from National Louis University in Evanston, Illinois. Teresa taught elementary education in Chicago and in Fort Collins. She and her husband have 3 children and they are part owners of Club Loveland.

Lisa Laake

Executive Director

Lisa joined our team in September 2020 and couldn’t be happier to be here. After working in public health for over 10 years, she’s excited to join the non-profit world. She is a graduate of both Colorado State University (BS in Health & Exercise Science) and the University of Northern Colorado (Master of Public Health). Lisa lives in Timnath with her husband and two sons and is a council member for the Town of Timnath.

Alyssa Proulx

Group Leader

Alyssa has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from CSU and is currently in grad school for counseling at the University of Northern Colorado. She moved to Fort Collins 5 years ago from Austin, Texas, and absolutely loves it. She hopes she never has to leave! In her free time, you can find Alyssa running, cycling, and backpacking with friends.

SNAPP – An empowerment response to today’s culture for youth.

 

What is SNAPP all about?

SNAPP is a place where young teens can be authentic, celebrate differences, and find their inner greatness.

The overall methodology combines a strengths-based philosophy with positive psychology to create an approach that focuses on purpose, empowerment, perseverance, hope, optimism, collaboration, and potential, among others.
